The class of 2011 is near complete, only one seat is available, Liuzzi, Klien, de la Rosa?
“If true, I must say, this is quite a Force in deed. Sutil has insane speed according to former F2 team mate Lewis Hamilton and the German guy is getting more crafty and he’s quite a combative driver. Di Resta is a big talent, he was team mate of a certain driver in Formula 2 Euro Series and beat that certain driver. That certain driver is the reigning world champion, called Sebastian Vettel. The Scot has a long list of exquisite results, and he’s the current DTM champion. Don’t say it’s meh. Di Resta is from the less money and sponsor-backed ‘poorer’ drivers, he’s the crop of the generation of Hamilton, Vettel, Kubica, Rosberg, Sutil etc, but it wasn’t so easy for him to get access into Formula 1. So DTM was his waiting room, by the help of Mercedes, because they knew he’s a driver who’s worthy to try out in F1 one day. I think Mercedes and his manager, a certain Anthony Hamilton played a big part to get a seat for him (if it’s true of course). Last year he drove on some Fridays being the team’s reserve/test driver and showed good adaptability and speed. Also he’s from a racing family, kind-of. He’s the cousin of racing drivers (multiple IndyCar champion) Dario Franchitti and Marino Franchitti.
Nico Hülkenberg, another young gun, with great talent, will be the team’s third driver. Obviously it’s a step-back for him after racing for Williams last year, but I feel he will be back in a race seat sooner than later…
I feel them a very strong trio, and as much young trio. May the Force be with you, guys!”
